This is a custom dress sewn by my step mother. It was made with lace that matches the included veil, which was my mother's from her wedding. The gown is two separate pieces, a corset top with appliques, which is somewhat adjustable, and has a modesty panel. The skirt is shiny sheer material and is lined. I recommend getting a crinoline to wear with it. It has a train, and is able to be bustled. The hem is edged in lace that matches the appliques. The appliques are all hand attached.
Since the wedding, we found out that my mom has metastatic breast cancer. Since I am not going to wear it again, I wish to sell my gown and donate all of the proceeds to Metavivor and/or the Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance.
