I just got married on June 17th, 2017, so now it's your turn to own this gorgeous gown! Pronovias "Plaza" gown in ivory. The color is not yellow at all, more like a natural white. Size is a UK 10, which fits like a US size 8.
This dress was not hemmed, so the length is original. I am 5'9" and wore 4" heels, and the length was perfect. I did have the shoulders taken up about a half inch on both sides. The dress straps sit wide on the shoulders, so if you have a more narrow frame, this will probably be perfect for you. I got married outside in South GA, so I had the seamstress remove 2 layers of the tulle petticoat. It made the dress so much lighter and in no way made it any less extrordinary (you could always wear another petticoat with it if you want the ballgown skirt at maximum volume). Lastly, I've already had bra cups (can be removed by seamstress) and an extremely easy to tie bustle put in, so you're saving at least $200-$300 in costs right there!
This gown wears like a dream and the beautiful silk lining feels great against your skin. The gown it's self is made of Mikado silk, which is a medium weight fabric. It has an extremely subltle texture, and it floats over the ground like a cloud. The material is superb in the fact that after my outdoor wedding, it only picked up the tiniest amount of dirt on the hem, which isn't even visable unless you lift the skirt. I have not had the dress cleaned yet, I haven't had time yet, but will be happy to do so for the buyer. There are no other stains or defects- this dress is in overall excellent condition.
