I purchased this dress from Sarah Seven San Francisco and received the dress in June/July 2016. I wore it once in September 2016 and had it professionally dry cleaned. Post dry cleaning, I was unhappy with how the tulle looked so I had the tulle chest entirely remade by Sarah Seven so that it was brand new again! Wore it once again in November 2016 (very short duration and mostly inside hotel wedding).
The dress is light, feminine, and so very comfortable! Easy to move and dance in. Had no problems whatsoever with it. I only had one dress for my wedding day but it was all I needed because the beautiful detail and effort that the Sarah Seven seamstress put into it truly stood out! I had so many guests comment on how beautifully the dress had been tailored. It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.
I love it so much and but it seems such a waste to keep it lying around my tiny home and would love it if someone else could get good use out of it, have fun with it, and love it as much as I did :) The work that Sarah Seven did on it from start to finish… this dress is an absolute stunner.
I made such to hand carry the dress anywhere it needed to be taken. Ensuring that the ONLY modifications to it would be done in house by Sarah Seven. I chose not to dry clean after the 2nd wear since it honestly is still VERY clean and did not want to risk anything with the delicate tulle again. At most, I’d recommend a very light spot cleaning of the bottom of the dress where there are little specs but otherwise, seriously, this dress is very, very clean. No yellowing anywhere. Zero tears or rips. I treasure it more than many things I own so I made sure that it has only been handled with the utmost care. You can see from the pictures that the dress is in impeccable condition. The tulle has never been hung on a hanger, only gently draped or very carefully handled so as never to stretch it out. It’s too beautiful and delicate! :)
