Hi there, selling an authentic size 4 US, street size 2 Vera Wang Ethel Wedding gown.
This gown was used during my indoor reception June 2017. It is still a very beautiful gown, but I just don't have room for it in my closet.
It does not have any obvious stains, but dirty underneath and at the ends of the gown where it touched the floor. It does not have any wine stains or any other liquid stains. The gown has not been dry cleaned, and will have to be professionally dry cleaned by the next bride.
I did have the gown converted to a sweet heart line, had bra inserts added, as well as a fastener and a bustle to make sure the gown was not stepped on. No actual alteration or trimming of the dress, so all original length and size, and honestly I could have probably gone down to a size 2 or 0, but wasn’t expecting to shed a few pounds, but it just goes to show how good the mikado fabric is, as it still hugged my body like a glove and danced with me throughout the night. My stats are 5’6” with heels, bust 34 A, hips 26.5 and about 105 lbs, but this can probably fit bigger girls, had a lot of room to fill in the hips and thighs area. Gown is still currently bustled.
Gown was purchased in December 2015, and did get stored in my closet, and made some transcontinental flights for our destination wedding in June 2017. It is currently hanging in my closet. Since the tulle is sheer cut from Vera Wang, there are areas with some fraying, but mostly on the tips of the gown where it touched the ground. So please check the pictures for that, some areas are still in excellent condition.
The gown retails for 4,600+ tax + alterations. The receipt of this gown is from Nordstrom but got accidentally left behind at the hotel.
This will be final sale, low price because this gown does need some attention. So please be sure to check all the pictures and do not hesitate to ask questions. First 6 photos are from reception, and the rest were taken when we got home. Thanks for looking!
